Women’s Wellness Retreat Day

10.00am to 4.30pm - £175.00

Enjoy a wonderful day of one to one care in this special day retreat which focuses on your health and wellbeing. The morning will be spent with a full women’s health consultation where we look at your health concerns, be it digestive, hormonal, auto-immune, inflammation etc. before a plan is put in place to help you achieve your health goals, you can then enjoy some quiet time before being served a delicious 2 course vegetarian lunch. This part of the day can take up to 2 hours so that we have time to thoroughly assess your previously completed medical health form and look at your health in detail.

The afternoon is spent enjoying some of the therapies on offer which may include; The Emotion Code, Reflexology, Aroma Balance Therapy, Sound Resonance Healing Therapy or a card reading, the choice is yours to choose at the time of booking or, you can experience the full Body Temple Mizan Ritual.

As down time is vitally important, you have the option to head out for a stroll along the canal to the locks or to simply enjoy snuggling up with a good book and a herbal tea, the days is yours to do as you please. Refreshments are available throughout the day.

Retreat days can be booked individually or combined with one of the other retreats on offer for a retreat break

10.00am - arrival at the cabin and settle in

10.30am - Women's health appointment/ functional nutrition where we look in depth at the previously completed medical form, look at what is going on for you and put a detailed plan in place of my recommendations, you will leave with my Happy Hormone Guidebook worth £40.00.

12.00pm - Time for you

1.00pm - A tasty vegetarian lunch then either:

2.00pm - Aroma Balance Therapy (my signature therapy for women’s endocrine systems)

3.30pm - Time for you / an optional card reading

4.30pm - Time to say goodbye

Women’s Healing Retreat Day

10.00am to 4.30pm - £175.00

This beautiful day retreat has been created for busy women to have some time to relax, rebalance and reconnect with your inner self. The day commences with a therapy of your choice before having some precious quiet time where you can enjoy a stroll out to connect with nature or snuggle up under blankets with a good book in the cabin, try mindful colouring or perhaps have a play with the singing bowls or oracle cards.

Following a delicious vegetarian lunch you can enjoy another therapy such as a sound bath, The Emotion Code or energy healing and a mini card reading. You will be made to feel extra special on the day as time out is vitally important for our physical, mental and emotional health.

A full itinerary of your day will be emailed to you where you can chose your preferred therapies. The day allows plenty of time for one to one therapies, quiet time or time to talk if that is what you need, I am not a trained counsellor but a good listener. Herbal teas are available throughout the day and light snacks.

Women’s Mini- Half Day Retreat

09.30am to 12.45pm - £90.00

A half-day retreat is great for busy women who are unable to commit to a full day.

The morning includes a full 2 hours of hands on therapies before some time to ‘just be’ in the cabin. A delicious light lunch is served leaving you feeling well nourished for the rest of the day. This beautiful mini-day retreat has been created for busy women to have some time to relax.  Books, cosy throws and mindful colouring is provided for your enjoyment along with a selection of herbal teas.

SUMMARY

The Garden Sanctuary is a Women's Holistic and Wellness Clinic focused on supporting women on their healing journey. Situated in my beautiful garden cabin, in the rural town of Barnoldswick, your retreat offers a chance for you to totally switch off and detox from the world, enjoy one to one treatments such as a sound bath, reflexology and massage and connect with nature on this solo retreat.

So that you receive the best one to one care, all retreats are designed for women to enjoy some time alone.

Your bed and breakfast accommodation hosts are either Tracey at The Alma Cliffe in Barnoldswick or David and Val at Foxhill Fold in Gisburn, this is included in your retreat day package.

ALL RETREATS RUN BETWEEN SUNDAY TO FRIDAY (Sunday being your accommodation check al-in day)

Currently there are two types of women’s solo retreats, Women’s Solo Rest & Relaxation Retreat, and the Women’s Solo Menopause Retreat. My name is Claire, I am a registered nutritionist, a functional medicine practitioner, holistic therapist and retreat host supporting women on their journey to improved health and wellness. Women have a delicate and complex hormone and immune system and this can increase the risk of auto immune conditions, an overactive nervous system and burn out. With generally more to juggle in their lives such as work, family commitments, caring responsibilities and trying to be in all places all at once there is often little time left for your own wellbeing and to refill your cup.

A retreat hosted at The Garden Sanctuary is time for you to be looked after, nurtured and cared for. By booking a solo retreat, the focus is just on you and gives you the time and space to reset by immersing yourself in the many holistic therapies on offer such as a nutritional therapy, a sound bath, reflexology, massage therapies, cranial sacral therapy or chakra healing, there is also time for walking, mindful colouring, a card reading or just talking if that’s what you need. The retreat is very flexible and is tailored for your wellness needs.

As a nutritionist, the retreat can include a full nutrition/functional medicine appointment on the first day and appropriate therapies and recommendations for your health concern be it IBS, inflammatory conditions, hormonal imbalances, weight struggles, diabetes etc.

FOOD AND DRINK

All food and drinks are provided. As a nutritionist I am conscious of providing healthy, nutritious food which is plant based and thoughtfully prepared. Most diets can be catered for however I am unable to guarantee a nut free environment so unfortunately I am unable to cater for those with nut allergies.

100% deposit refund for cancellation 30+ days before retreat start date.

50% deposit refund for cancellation 10-29 days before retreat start date.

0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-9 days before retreat start date.

REMAINING BALANCE

Remaining balance is due 14 days before the retreat start date.

SAMPLE ITINERARY - Healing Retreat

10.00am - Arrive, settle with a herbal tea while we complete your medical form

10.30am - A relaxing holistic treatment for 60 minutes

11.45am - Time to 'Just Be', perhaps enjoy a walk or try some mindful colouring

1.00pm - Vegetarian lunch

2.30pm - A 60 treatment of your choice

3.30pm - Time in the cabin with a warm herbal tea

4.30pm - A mini optional card reading

6.30pm - Evening dinner

7.00pm - Retire for the evening

FOOD

All meals are vegetarian and dairy free although fish maybe included. As food is prepared in an area where nuts are present I am unfortunately unable to cater for those with nut allergies. Please let me know if you have any particular catering requirements.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What To Bring

  • It’s important that you feel comfortable throughout the day as you will probably be getting dressed and undressed between treatments. If you’re planning on a short stroll out please be mindful of our British weather, some items you may wish to bring are:

    · Walking boots

    · Raincoat/Mac

    · Comfy joggers, sweater, fluffy socks and/or slippers

    · A bottle of water, although refreshments will be available throughout the day

    - An overnight bag

  • Travel Insurance Suggestions

    It is suggested that travel insurance is taking out in case you need to cancel due to unavoidable circumstances
