This professional and CMA-accredited Diploma in Reflexology is suitable for those wishing to practise reflexology as a standalone therapy or add it to an existing therapy practice.

The course combines home study with two practical training days, giving you the opportunity to develop both your theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills.

The course includes approximately 8 hours of pre-course study, followed by two days of practical training.

The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as qualified therapists looking to add reflexology to their existing practice.

Following your practical training, you'll complete 15 case studies to demonstrate your knowledge and practical skills.

Case studies must be completed and submitted within six months of completing the practical training.

Entry Requirements

You must be aged 18 or over and have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

You must either already hold a recognised qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology or be studying towards one.

If you need your Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology qualification, this can be purchased alongside the Reflexology course at the discounted course-bundle price.

Qualification & Accreditation

Following successful completion of your training and required case studies, you'll receive a Foundation Level 1 Diploma in Reflexology, accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

Graduates can then explore professional insurance and membership options appropriate to their qualification.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This practical training course introduces you to Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, including techniques based on the Vodder method.

The course is designed for qualified massage therapists and bodyworkers who would like to expand their existing skills and add lymphatic techniques to their practice.

You'll receive approximately 8 hours of pre-course study before attending two practical training days.

A recognised Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology is required, together with an appropriate recognised qualification in body massage.

Qualification & Accreditation

Following successful completion of your training and practical assessment, you'll receive a Certificate in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology – Level 3

This Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology course is suitable for complete beginners, existing therapists and anyone wanting to develop their understanding of the human body before undertaking further complementary therapy training.

It's a flexible home-study course, allowing you to work through the material at your own pace without attending classroom sessions.

Your course fee includes your learning materials, assessments, tutor support and certificate upon successful completion.

No Formal Entry Requirements

This course is suitable for:

What You Will Learn

The course covers the structure and function of the major systems of the human body, together with common conditions and pathologies associated with them.

Each module explores relevant anatomy, physiology and common disorders associated with the system being studied.

Assessment

Your course materials and assessment pack will be emailed to you once you enrol.

The assessment is completed through guided home study, with a minimum score of 80% required to achieve your certificate.

Tutor support is available should you need additional guidance during your studies.

Your Training Experience

All practical training takes place in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Courses can run with between one and two attendees, giving you plenty of opportunity for individual tuition and hands-on practice.

Practical training is generally held at The Natural Therapy Centre in Barnoldswick, Lancashire, on weekdays.

Training days generally run from 10am until approximately 4pm–4.30pm, unless otherwise stated.

Tea, coffee, water and refreshments are provided. Please bring your own lunch.

Depending on the course, you may need to provide a model for practical assessment. I'll let you know what is required before your training.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due four weeks before your course start date.

Payment plans may be available by prior agreement.

Once your booking and payment have been received, you'll receive confirmation of your course details and any pre-course learning materials you need.

Course Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Transfers

Please read the following terms carefully before booking.

As a small training provider, course places are limited and practical training dates are arranged specifically around the students attending. Course fees also cover tuition, training materials, assessment and certification.

A 14-day cooling-off period applies to bookings made at a distance, subject to applicable consumer legislation.

After the cooling-off period, deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these terms.

Where sufficient notice is given, you may request to transfer your payment to another available course date or course. Transfers are subject to availability and can only be made once.

If you cancel 30 days or more before your course start date, a 50% refund may be available.

If you cancel within 14 days of your course start date, no refund will normally be given.

If you withdraw after a course has commenced, course fees are non-refundable.

In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at my discretion.

Changes to Training Dates

In the unlikely event that training needs to be postponed due to illness, insufficient numbers or circumstances beyond my control, I will offer you an alternative training date.

Every effort will be made to rearrange training as soon as reasonably possible.

The Natural Therapy Centre reserves the right to make reasonable changes to training dates, times, venues or arrangements where necessary.

Please note that I cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of income resulting from changes to training arrangements.

Course fees do not normally include equipment, treatment products, travel or accommodation unless specifically stated.

Insurance

It is your responsibility to check with your chosen insurance provider that the qualification you are undertaking will be accepted for professional insurance before booking.

If this is your first professional therapy qualification, you may wish to consider student insurance during your training.

CMA-accredited graduates can explore professional insurance options available through recognised providers.

Certificates

Certificates are awarded once the required standard has been successfully demonstrated and all relevant assessments, case studies or assignments have been completed.

Students must demonstrate the required level of knowledge and practical competence to achieve certification.

Health & Safety

Please inform me of any relevant health condition or physical limitation before booking your course.

Some practical therapies can be physically demanding, so you need to be physically able to participate safely in the practical elements of your chosen course.

If you are unsure whether a course is suitable for you, please contact me before booking so we can discuss your circumstances.

If a health and safety concern arises during training and I believe it is unsafe for you to continue, I reserve the right to ask you to stop participating in the practical element of the course.

Attendance

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before the advertised start time.

If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the course has started, I may not be able to allow you to join the practical training, and course fees may not be refundable.

Please check your course confirmation carefully for the exact training times and any specific requirements.
